Muddy Buddies aka Puppy Chow are a classic party food loved by all! This is such a yummy Halloween Recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice chex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup halloween candy

Instructions

  1. Place chex cereal into a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Place powdered sugar in a different large bowl with a lid.or a large ziplock bag. Set aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Once melted, pour this mixture over the chex cereal. Stir well to coat. 
  4. Pour the cereal into the bowl of powered sugar. Place the lid on the bowl and shake well until the cereal is coated.
  5. Toss the muddy buddies with the Halloween candy.

This is a fun Halloween Spin on dirt cake... Graveyard Dirt Cake! Super easy to put together and who doesn't love dirt cake. It's for sure a favorite among kids and adults!

Ingredients

  • 2 packs of Oreos
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 package butterscotch pudding 
  • 2 cups milk or 3 cans evaporated milk
  • 1 block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar of marshmallow fluff
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 package Milano cookies
  • Black icing or a food pen

Instructions

  1. Mix the pudding according to package directions, using the milk or evaporated milk.
  2. Crush all of the Oreos and divide in half.
  3. Melt the butter and stir in half of the Oreos. Press into the bottom of a casserole dish.
  4. Mix together the softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff. Fold in Cool Whip.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the Oreos pressed into the bottom of the casserole dish.
  6. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining half of the Oreos over the pudding layer.
  8. Using black icing or a food pen, write "R.I.P" on each Milano cookie and place into the dirt cake to resemble graves.

This has to be my favorite Halloween recipe so far! (have I said that already? haha). This Halloween Monkey Bread recipe is super easy and SO PRETTY and tastes even better than it looks! It is great as a special breakfast treat or to take to a party as a dessert! Definitely a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 3 cans of biscuits
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • Orange food coloring
  • Black cookie icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4ths.
  3. Place the cinnamon and sugar into a bowl and dip the biscuit pieces into the mixture then place the covered biscuit pieces into the bundt pan.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the brown sugar and the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit pieces in the bundt pan.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly then turn it out onto a large plate.
  8. Melt the chocolate chips and color with orange food coloring. Drizzle the orange chocolate and the black cookie icing over the monkey bread then serve.

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats! It may be up for debate whether candy corn is garbage or not, but these Rice Krispie treats are a treasure!

Ingredients

Outer yellow ring:
  • 4 1/2 cups rice krispie cereal
  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Yellow food coloring
Middle orange ring:
  • 2 3/4 cups rice krispie cereal
  • 3 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Orange food coloring
White center:
  • 1 1/2 cups rice krispie cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Coat two 8x8 round cake pans with nonstick spray.
  2. To make the outer yellow ring, combine 5 cups of mini marshmallows and 3 tbsp of butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 1 minute interval, stirring between each interval, until melted and smooth. Stir 4 drops of yellow food coloring into the melted mixture. Place the 4 1/2 cups of cereal in a large bowl and pour the yellow marshmallow mixture over it and stir until all the cereal is coated. Quickly divide the mixture evenly between the two cake pans and form two rings on the outer edges of each pan.
  3. To make the orange ring, wash the bowls and repeat the process with the ingredients for the orange ring.
  4. To make the white center, wash the bowls and repeat the process with the ingredients for the rings but just form a white circle in the middle of the pans.
  5. Allow the rounds to set for at least an hour then flip each pan onto a cutting board and tap to release the round. Use a large knife to cut the round into triangular sections.
  6. Serve or store in an airtight container.

These are some creepy deviled eggs! Beet blood deviled eggs! They are easy to make and super healthy. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • Black food coloring gel
  • 2 beets
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 7 minutes.
  2. Place some cool water in a large bowl. After the eggs have sat in the hot water for 7 minutes, add them to the cool water until they are cool enough to handle.
  3. Gently tap each egg on your counter then gently roll them to crack the shells, but don’t remove them yet.
  4. Add black food coloring gel to the bowl of cool water and stir. After you get all the eggs cracked, place them in the bowl with black water.
  5. Refrigerate the bowl for 7 hours or overnight.
  6. When you are almost ready to remove the eggs from the refrigerator, peel and dice the beets. Toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork. Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. Transfer the beets to a food processor.
  8. Remove the shells from the eggs and cut each egg in half lengthwise.
  9. Remove the yolks from the eggs and add them to the food processor with the beets.
  10. Pulse together the beets and egg yolks until smooth.
  11. Place the filling on the egg halves and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Ingredients

  • 24 whole baby bella mushrooms, washed and stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cooked ground sausage
  • Garlic powder, salt, and pepper; to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or grill to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place mushroom caps, stem side down on a rimmed baking sheet (or on a grill pan) and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven or grill and set aside.
  3. Mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sausage, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Turn mushrooms stem side up and divide the sausage mixture evenly between the mushrooms.
  5. Cut 12 olives in half lengthwise. Place 1 half of an olive in the center of each mushroom. Cut the remaining olives into spider legs. Arrange 8 spider legs around each olive half to resemble a spider.
  6. Cook or grill for an additional 8 minutes until the filling is hot.

Ingredients

  • 6 large jalapeno peppers
  • 2 oz feta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Garlic powder, salt, and pepper; to taste
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 24 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or grill to 425 degrees F.
  2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Stir together the feta, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the peppers with the mixture.
  5. Slice the bacon in half lengthwise
  6. Wrap the bacon around the peppers, leaving a small space at the top of each pepper to add the eyes at the end of cooking.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 15 – 20 minutes or until the bacon is cooked.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the peppers cool for a few minutes then add the candy eyes.

This is another Halloween twist on an easy breakfast treat. Pumpkin cinnamon rolls! All you have to do is use refrigerated cinnamon rolls and use food dye to color the icing! This is a huge hit for kids and adults!

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Green and orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Place the cinnamon rolls on a greased baking sheet two inches apart. Pink the top of each cinnamon roll to make it look like a stem.
  2. Bake according to package directions.
  3. While the cinnamon rolls are baking, put 1/4 of the icing that came with the rolls in a small bowl and the rest of it in another bowl. Add a little bit of cream cheese to each bowl and stir together well. Add green food coloring to the bowl with the least icing. Add orange food coloring to the bowl with the most icing. Stir together until evenly colored.
  4. Once the cinnamon rolls are finished cooking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes then ice the round part with orange icing and ice the stem part with green icing.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 15 oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 28 oz can of pasta sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb spaghetti pasta
  • Black gel food coloring
  • Green olives

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, brown the Italian sausage and drain off any fat. Cook the diced onion with the Italian sausage.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, and seasonings to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt. Add pasta and cook to al dente according to package directions. Save 1/2 cup pasta water.
  4. Drain the pasta then add it to a large bowl. Add several dots of food coloring and about 1/4 cup of pasta water. Stir until pasta is evenly colored black.
  5. Serve sauce over black pasta.
  6. Add olives as monster eyes.

  2. Open the pie crust and lay out on a flat surface.
  3. Slice into 12 long strips.
  4. Spray each chopstick with nonstick spray then wrap each pie crust strip around each chopstick.
  5. Flatten out one end of each breadstick to resemble a snake's head and taper the other end to resemble a tail.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seed mix.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
  8. Cut cherry tomatoes or red bell peppers to resemble snake tongues and cut black olives to resemble snake eyes and place on the snake heads.

  • 24 mini Reese’s cups, frozen
  • 48 small candy eyes
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter peanut butter egg, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until blended.
  5. Form into one-inch balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  7. Immediately after removing the cookies from the oven, press an upside-down frozen peanut butter cup in the center of each cookie then move to a cooling rack.
  8. Once you have moved the cookies to the cooling rack, place the candy eyes on the front of each Reese’s cup.
  9. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow the cookies to become firm.
  10. Add chocolate chips to a piping bag and melt in the microwave.
  11. Clip a tiny piece of the corner of the bag off and draw eight legs for each spider.
  12. Refrigerate for 10 minutes then serve or store!

A spooky Halloween spin on one of our favorite breakfast treats, powdered sugar donuts!

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • Soda top or something similar

Instructions

  1. Unroll the biscuits from the package and place them on a sheet of wax or parchment paper
  2. Roll each biscuit into a long oval using a rolling pin or a glass cup.
  3. Use a soda top and cut out ghost eyes and mouth.
  4. Pour oil into a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. When oil is hot, place each ghost in the skillet. Work in batches to not overcrowd the skillet. Cook until each side is golden brown.
  6. Remove the ghosts to a plate with paper towels.
  7. Place the powdered sugar in a large ziplock bag.
  8. Place the ghosts in the ziplock bag and shake until the ghosts are covered.
  9. Remove from sugar and serve.

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the M&Ms.
  6. Scoop onto greased or lined baking sheets with a 2 tbsp ice cream scoop.
  7. Gently press the rest of the M&Ms onto the tops of the cookies.
